Governance

Decentralized governance is a cornerstone of the vision we hold for EVAA. It represents a move away from traditional centralized control, putting the power directly in the hands of our users. While we're as eager as our community to introduce it, we believe in doing so with the utmost care, ensuring it's a beneficial and seamless addition to the EVAA ecosystem. We appreciate the patience and trust our community has in us and remain committed to delivering on our promise. While we strongly recognize the benefits and importance of decentralized governance, we want to transparently convey that the EVAA protocol does not have a live decentralized governance system in place. However, introducing such a governance model is a primary objective on our roadmap.

Why Isn't It Implemented Yet?

  1. Phased Development: Building a decentralized platform is a complex process. We've chosen a phased development approach to ensure every aspect of EVAA is built with robustness and security. This approach lets us address the core functionalities first and then expand to add auxiliary features like governance.

  2. Ensuring Security: The integration of decentralized governance involves making significant changes to the protocol. We want to ensure that it's free of vulnerabilities and secure for our users when it is introduced.

  3. Community Readiness: For effective decentralized governance, an active, informed, and engaged community is essential. We're working on community-building initiatives to ensure that it has a wide participation base when governance is introduced.

What Can You Expect When Governance is Launched?

  1. Clear Communication: We'll provide comprehensive details on how the governance system will work, including voting mechanics, proposal submissions, and implementation processes.

  2. Educational Resources: For our community members who might be new to decentralized governance, we'll release guides, webinars, and other resources to bring everyone up to speed.

  3. Feedback Channels: Before finalizing the governance model, we'll seek community feedback to ensure our model aligns with the community's needs and aspirations.
